Anne Kalmering, singer and actress from a Russian-Jewish family, performs Jewish songs from Ashkenazi and Sephardic traditions as well as a modern repertoire. Her fascinating voice, charismatic and personal interpretation and strong stage presence has made her one of the most popular performers of Jewish song in Scandinavia. With her warm, witty and lighthearted presentations Anne can enchant audiences of all kinds.

Anne cooperates with the most established musicians in the genre and have performed for an enthusiastic audience at festivals, concerthalls, TV, radio, schools etc. in Scandinavia, North America and Europe. She conducts a youth choir singing Yiddish, gives workshops in Jewish song for all ages. and gives concerts continouosly with Stahlhammer Klezmer Classic, her own ensemble and as a guestsinger with different groups..
